You can compare track your progress by comparing it against unit requirements and at every stage of your learning and study you can get support from your iTAFE mentor and advisor.

There are many ways that you might choose to make your way through the unit. The diagram and suggested sessions (below) will help to plan your learning through the Process and Monitor Event Operations  unit. The sessions outlined below are a suggestion only - you may have another way that you prefer to study.



Session 1 - Process Registrations - Pink Tiles

This includes:
  • Interpret and accurately process event registrations according to organisational procedures and timelines
  • Identify, collect and process missing customer information
  • Offer alternatives for unavailable registrations including wait list options
  • Answer inquiries about costs and other event details
  • Record customer details using appropriate systems and technology
  • File the event registration according to system and procedural

  • Automated or manual registrations, which one is better

Session 2 - Update, Monitor and Report on Registrations - Aqua Tiles

This includes:
  • Updating the financial status of the registration
  • Accept, process and record and customer requests for amendments or cancellations
  • Provide details of amendments or cancellation conditions and confirm the customers understanding
  • Monitor registrations and generate registration reports
  • Identify reports on emerging problems from attendance information
  • Tack action to address attendee issues

Session 3 - Procedure final registration documentation - Yellow Tiles

This includes:
  • Check and finalise event registration details within timelines
  • Prepare and issue customer documents
  • Checking information for accuracy prior to issuing
  • Generate and distribute final registration reports
  • Minimise the use of printed materials and maximise electronic transmission of all documents
